# llimphi-reproductor

> Plays an `EscenaWire` that arrived over the cable onto the **host's** canvas — `vello`
> on Linux, `vello_cpu` in wawa — and measures text with the native shaper.

Text deliberately does not cross the wire: measuring a string is a question that the
*other* side of the border answers, and a synthetic measurer would make the test lie. So
the caged app sends what to draw, and the host, which owns the fonts, decides how wide it
is.

Its counterpart is `llimphi-jaula` (who composes) and `llimphi-cable` (who transports).
